The Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, on the very day of the feast of Pentecost Sunday (May 31, 2020), in the person of the General Vicariate Superior Most Rev. Fr. Dariusz Drzewiecki MIC, joyfully welcome and admits to the postulancy program its three candidates; Bernie L. Rupinta, Arvin T. Mulion and Marc Anfernee N. Villanueva with the presence of their assigned Master of Postulancy, Rev. Fr. Jacob Biernacki MIC.
During the ceremony of the admission we celebrated the Liturgy of the Word with the special and beautiful word from the Gospel of St. Luke where Jesus replied to the woman from the crowd and said “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”
And how true is this word where the presider of the Liturgy itself also reminded and admonished the new postulants to become a living Gospel to others, to make it our first rule to holiness and eternal salvation, just like St. Stanislaus Papczynski the Founder of the Marian Congregation, and there is no other better example too, than our patroness the blessed Virgin Mary the Immaculate Mother of God, who listens, observes and pondered the Word of God in her heart.
Though this is a special and joyous day, we are also saddened by the absence of one of the candidates Manuel Antonio Lorenzo Farrarons who was not able to join (yet) in the postulancy program due to the pandemic outbreak but with joyful hope and trust in the Divine Providence we know everything will be in accord in the most holy will of God.
